Texas Farm Bureau’s business decision regarding Nike

Texas Farm Bureau’s business decision regarding Nike

There have been several news reports and social media traffic that misrepresent Texas Farm Bureau's position on Nike and the controversial advertising campaign for that brand.

Texas Farm Bureau has not banned employees from wearing Nike apparel to work. The company's action involves only Texas Farm Bureau shirts that are co-branded with the Nike logo. We have for some time been phasing out shirts that are co-branded with other companies like Nike, and we're moving to shirts with only our logo.

The Nike marketing campaign is controversial, and there have been complaints. This was strictly a business decision for the company.

Texas Farm Bureau Chief Operating Officer/Executive Director Si Cook discusses the decision regarding Nike in this video.
