Farm bill passage brings farmers, ranchers added certainty

The following statement regarding signing of the 2018 Farm Bill can be attributed to Texas Farm Bureau President Russell Boening.

"Today, farmers and ranchers received certainty as President Trump signed the 2018 Farm Bill. This five-year legislation is critical. It gives Texas farmers and ranchers confidence and certainty that programs and policies are in place to help them manage the tremendous risks in agriculture, and there are many. We're grateful for the outstanding efforts of agricultural leaders in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate to finalize the legislation before the end of the year and for President Trump's support. It's a good day for U.S. agriculture."
