TFB statement on Congress passing the continuing resolution

The following statement may be attributed to Texas Farm Bureau President Russell Boening regarding passage Friday by Congress of the Continuing Resolution that contains important provisions for Texas farmers and ranchers:

“The Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) is thankful today for approval by Congress of its Continuing Resolution that contains several provisions critical to Texas farmers and ranchers.

"A large segment of Texas agriculture was facing catastrophic consequences if Congress did not act on this must-pass legislation.

"TFB greatly appreciates the many members of the Texas congressional delegation who supported Texas farm and ranch families by voting for the Continuing Resolution.

"President Biden signed the bill into law today."
